Is it annoying? I thought it might be a way to have more lj presence.

It is one way. I personally find twitter to be such a goddam mess! What with its timestamps and acronyms and the fact that 60% of any given tweet is re-attribution.

But it is damn better than nothing okay????

I find it annoying, but maybe others don't? It's just a babble of overheard conversation fragments without any context of who it is that you're tweeting at. I have a twitter account and chose not to use it (unless I'm trackign friends who are fleeing natural disasters, or witnessing G20 type nastiness)cause I don't like the format. I guess I figure that if people want to read tweets then they'll go over there to read them.
I miss reading long actual-paragraphs posts... but maybe I'm greedy.
