Rah rah readathon!lingrnginsilnceOctober 17 2015, 16:29:22 UTC
First of all, I miss LJ mood icons :-P Second, the Anne books are some of my favorite from my childhood, and I actually didn't know until I was in my 20s that there were more besides the three in the omnibus my grandmother gave me when I was 9! I tore through them then :) Enjoy your readathon time, spooky or no!

I miss LJ period (I just uses it for this now) -_-
I read them having know ideas how many books were in the series either, but the book club thing my mom was subscribed too would regularly had a new one, and I was delighted at the seemingly endless supply of Anne books!
Anne of Ingleside is my favourite of the Anne books I think (it's a long time since I read them). Have you read the Emily books by LM Montgomery? I loved Anne but I really really loved Emily.
I haven't read Anne of Ingleside in so long, I don't remember! But I think my favourite ones are the first three, though I still enjoyed the rest a lot.
I've read the Emily books just this years, and while they can't take the place childhoods books have, I enjoyed them a lot (except for the creepy old dude in love with her I have to say).
Just stopping by...

I love the "current mood" Anne of Green Gables pic :) Also, you're doing really well on the pages, keep it up! Don't be afraid to switch books if you need a break, though.

Thanks! They seem appropriate even if I'm probably not going to read any Anne this week end. I've 50 pages left for this one so I'll finish it I think! I know it's a good advice to switch, but I'm always reluctant for some reason ^^;
Thanks for passing through, hope your readathon's going well!

Best of luck with the readathon! I've only read Anne of Green Gables, but I've often wished to read more of the series.

The Anne books are old favourite of mine, but I'm rereading them all in English for the first time, it's lovely.
