Anise lives at the Daath cathedral, the centre of the Order of Lorelei, with her father and mother. Some time ago, her father had fallen into severe debt, and was bailed out by Grand Maestro Mohs, who thenceforth held great control over the Tatlin family. At age 11 (two years before the present), Anise attained the rank of Fon Master Guardian, attendant and bodyguard of the supreme leader, or Fon Master, of the Order of Lorelei. During her time in this position, she grew very attached to Fon Master Ion as a close friend.
In battle, she uses her stuffed cat(?) Tokunaga in combination with her fonic artes. Tokunaga was modified through fontech by Dist some time ago as a sort of gift, and so she can make it grow to several times its size. She's since lost a great deal of respect for Dist but still has a teensy little bit of a soft spot for him as a result of this gesture. Not enough to make her hesitate to fight him, but just enough for her to not completely hate him.
Stuff happens--and the whole Order of Lorelei gets pretty messed up. Her position has become somewhat vague since, but with much disorder and little staff, her work there is still considerably important. And because Daath, Ion, and the other people there (her parents especially) are so important to her, she works with great enthusiasm for the Order, striving to someday become its next leader.
Personality descriptions: Despite having a considerable position within a religious order, Anise tends to exhibit somewhat immoral behaviour, the most obvious of which is her love for money and the means to which she'll go to acquire it. Though this stems most prominently from the issues of her family's debt, her money-grubbing tendencies are unlikely to be changed by any circumstances, as her love for riches has become a genuine part of her personality. She always does her best to get into the good books of wealthy noblemen. She views most single rich men as potential husbands, and never hesitates to make advances towards them.
Because of her own betrayal of the party, Anise can be very distrustful of others and becomes easily frustrated with people who are too trusting for their own good. As much as they bug her, she doesn't dislike naive people, however--she instead feels the need to protect her more gullible friends. She's also quite nosy and enjoys prying into others' personal affairs. Additionally, Anise can be very unforgiving in a somewhat childish way towards people who have wronged her.
Among becoming the next leader of the Order of Lorelei and marrying into money, Anise's #3 goal in life is to grow a rack comparable to Tear's. (This too will help her achieve a rich husband.) In addition to paying much attention to her looks and manners among the upper-class, Anise has become a skilled cook as part of her bridal training.

Where am I? I know the cathedral's huge and all, but I haven't gotten lost here since I was little! Did they renovate sometime when I wasn't looking? Where'd they get the money to do that!?
But... this sure doesn't look like Padamiya to me. The plants, the coastline... Where are the mountains? Maybe I was teleported somewhere far away, but... I don't think there was anything like a fonic glyph in the kitchen... Was it a kidnapper!? But what could anyone want with me? Was I captured and dumped here as an obstacle to the heart of a young and eligible aristocrat!? Someone as cute as me would certainly be a threat, in that case! ♪ Oh, this is terrible!
No, I need to calm down and think positive... Rather than a disaster, maybe this could be an opportunity! I mean, this could just as easily be some handsome noble's private beach! And if that were the case, I'd just have to go meet him, have a chat... use a bit of my irresistible Anise charm♥... and I'll be home free!
