Another day

Feb 09, 2006 22:21

Things have been busy in school, but it's nothing I can't handle. It just takes up a lot of time. Scholarship deadlines for incoming freshman have come and gone, and I've done everything I could about them. Now it's just time to wait.

Rangiku's been really busy lately, and I haven't seen her much. She's probably taking extra hours at the bar to ( Read more... )

Oh, n-no, I wasn't asleep...

I'm sorry Hitsugaya, I didn't mean to make you feel unwelcome, and you weren't chasing me, I... I had a headache. That's all. I am sorry.

. . . don't apologize; it's not a big deal.

If you still have a headache, I know Rangiku has a large stash of Advil and I can bring you some.

No, it's fine. I'm better now, and you don't need to worry, honestly. It's not a problem anymore, I just don't want you to think I don't want you here.

All right.

But I'll still take Marcus (Momo shouldn't mind), and Mouse even, if you want me to this weekend.

School is terrible at this time of the year. I know I'm rushed off of my feet and I'm supposed to be the teacher - students probably have it worse.

I think it depends on the teacher and the students.

I only have to write one paper--the teacher has to grade one paper for every student.

Grading's main problem is that it's tedious...and time consuming. One paper does sound enviable, though.

Of course, I'd rather not do any papers at all, but that's mostly because I hate being restricted to specific topics. My history teacher has always made us choose from a list, and by the time the list makes it to where I sit, anything remotely interesting is gone.

Oh, I found out myself when I was wondering where the noise was coming from. It's a good idea!

We really ought to get their nails trimmed sometime..

I thought it was.

How do you do that? Do you go to a vet or something? I don't know how to do it . . .

I think pet stores sell nail clippers, but you'd have to go to a vet to get him de-clawed, though I don't know how much that costs..

@@; I'm not sure. You remember how grandmother was allergic to animal fur.

. . . probably a lot.

Wait. Inuzuka has a huge dog, maybe he knows how to do it? Or maybe his sister--isn't she a vet?

So many new people have moved in recently, I'm not sure who is who anymore.

Mm, you've got the right attitude. No point in worrying about things you can't change.

Depending on what it is, I still worry sometimes.

Yeah. I just wish I didn't have to do it as much as I do.
