- The city of Bath used to be known as 'Aquae Sulis,' Sulis was the godess believed to have made/reside in the natural hot spring there. It's the only hot spring in the UK, and it's still hot, steamy, and bubbling happily after a few thousand years. It tastes like a particularly robust brand of tap water, however. Yeah, hedges or 'hedgrows' are SERIOUS in the UK. (Also in parts of France too). The hedges in France STOPPED TANKS. I've seen some in the UK that could do it too. Managing hedges is a serious occupation. That's why they have hedges in the cross-country steeple chase 'arenas' - cause out in the wild - your horse has to JUMP those puppies!!!

I had a great time in Bath. Loved the Roman ruins - and actually saw Darek Jacobi perform in a sort of post-apocalyptic MACBETH at a theatre there - great fun!

You look terrific, travel suits you.

(And I believe you are correct in the assumption regarding Domini... Dominoes... Domina-ha-ha-haaahah)

Yay - I'm glad you went to Bath; I liked it a lot. If you get a chance to go up north at all, York is really cool as is Whitby which is a few hours coach ride from York. Your posts make me miss the UK! Sounds like you're having a great time though.
