Honestly, I in no way expect anyone to read my ramblings - a lot of it was mostly for my benefit so I can ~look back~ as I hope to do these every year. Most important point of this post: everyone has had a love affair with Folks. EVERYONE.
This evolution is fantastic. Most noticeable for me is the way you move between sharp and soft: sharp, soft, and then a mixture of both towards the end of the year. I also love the evolution of your texture use, both in terms of assisting colours of an icon and really giving it a framework. It's incredible. Really, just wow. Such amazing stuff. Also, #7 from the Sept 1 batch is beautiful. I love the softness of the colours, and the text is lovely. Just had to give that one a shout out!

Oh wow! This is honestly something I completely associate with you (and now Cece lol), and not only associate but admire so for you to notice it in meeee has me :o I do think in your case it is intentional and you have it mastered while mine are mostly flukes haha.

Looking at the months like this it def looks like took more risks composition wise, need to do that more as it seems to paid off a couple of times!

I love how you can work with lighting so well and for it to fit the icon so well - you the glow that you have sometimes on your icons such as the close crop Alisha one, ommggg so perfect! mm! I'm loving the development of using textures and text cause you do it so perfectly I drool over them I do! I don't think we really got to know each other much this year I think it was tvelite I first started speaking to you and commenting on your icons, but I would love to get to know you more in 2012 and become friends - yay!
