It's One Tree Hill and tbh I have no shame in saying it 17/16 IS MY NEW BAAAABY! To the point that if I could upload it as a default I would but I can't because I need to delete like 160+ userpics first lol ;(

But yes yes ilit and am proud of it because the original caps is one of those caps that yeah there are ~colors~ there but also shadows and once you're a screen and soft light layer in things go down hill quickly and esspecially in her face and omg all my cries but thank the heavens for masks, idk that I ever used so many in one iconnn. SO YEAH, I HAVE FEELS AND IL THAT YOU MENTIONED IT ♥

Oh and lol the text. Tbh 9/10 times when I go to include text I have to think of you/fuuurs/kawaii_chicken and like DRAW MY STRENGTH FROM YOU GUYS and even then it's nothing nearly as creative as you guys do but whatever whatever whatever.

Gorgeous Nia. They're a little different form your previous style but that's to be expected because of monitor woes. Never the less, I think you did pretty good and I'm glad you got your mojo back. My favorites are 7, 16, 34, and 35. And obviously 41. I love 35 though, I LOVE the way you did the silhouettes. How did you do that?

Thank you, Sarah! Actuallllly, since my ~monitor woes~ I've actually been able to get a new monitor so I don't really have monitor woes any more. Evething except 1,2,34,39 were made on my new monitor and tbh I love the monitor. One thing I noticed on this one though is that my older icons were a bit sharper than I had ever intended them to be. I will say I experimented more with coloring I guess, but only on some so I'm not really sure if that or the sharpening or what you're noticing the difference on exactly! Just hope it's a difference for the better :')

41: It was a flash challenge where we were given more than one cap to work with. I took one and edited it so that the subjects were closer together and just darkened up the screencap (curves layer, nothing fancy) and then set it on top of another cap to screen. From there I just cropped and colored to my liking! I kinda half assed it because I only had like 5 mins til it was due haha

I'm glad you got a new monitor though! your stuff just looks like a lot less glowey than I remember it, you know? does that make sense? It just turned out like SOOO super cool tbqh. Thanks bb. <3

Aw I can't, at least not for a while! The kids are still here (granted, napping, but taking this time to reply to comments) and then they'll still be here for anther hour and a half then I gotta cook dinner. But I'm sure I'll mosey on in eventually!

Oh yes, the glow! Well the glow will very much always be there I think, but in this particular cap I wanted t focus a bit on coloring and trying not to abuse soft light layers as much as I usually do haha. Kinda fun to go back and forth some times but I do love me some glow always so I'll never fully leave it behind!

And this batch is simply breathtaking, I love your coloring and how soft your icons always are ♥ My favourites are 2, 4, 9, 17, 25, 33 and 37. And 35 and 41 are afkslgslks!
