Pick any passage of 500 words or less from any story I've written, and comment to this post with that selection. I will then give you the equivalent of a DVD commentary on that snippet: what I was thinking when I wrote it, why I wrote it in the first place, what's going on in the character's heads, why I chose certain words, what this moment means ( Read more... )

Answering the two last ones first.

Les Mots Les Morts is an echo to a book I read aaages ago for med school called "les mots la mort les sorts". It's really just an echo for the wording, because the content of the title is really just about the themes of words that people say that can never replace the dead you've lost.

SUCH CUTE BUTTS was inspired by the music for the level.
It's just so trippy. So I wrote trippy fic.
-> Lucas has a fever. And trips about hippos.
That is all

Je ne me souviens pas du titre du verse ? C'est juste "what I am doing" sur le document =D

"He only has to raise a hand to wipe at his eyes for warm, thick coils to wrap around him and hold him up.
Hilbert chuckles.
"Serv... I can stand."
But the gentle but firm pull towards his pokemon's body and subtle eyeroll means no, stop being stupid, it's night and you're resting here with me. Just because you don't push us doesn't mean you can push yourself. And the gentle nuzzle of Serv's head makes him laugh again.
"You're mothering me."
It's nice, though. The air outside is cold--it's not snowing on this route but it might as well be--but Serv's body is warm with accumulated sunlight, a comforting hold. He can relax all he wants, held like this. Forget about fighting, just a bit, forget about dragons he has to wake. Forget about N--and the fist of fear inside his gut.
I never expected to hear pokemon say such things.Of course he wouldn't. How could he, when he wants to separate them from humans, break those bonds by force. What ( ... )

I made them actually cold-blooded in a way but since PLANTS they store warmth through their leaf parts and skin and use it for later.
Also helping each other, d'awww, let's move on.

MORE SILENT COMMUNICATION i was mostly trying to show that they know each other really well?

Seriously though I wanted something animalistic and plant-like at the same time, and I think this did it pretty well?

Yep yep yep yep yep <3
