I consider myself a movie fan and a bit of a film buff. I can tell my Tarantino from my Taymor and, unlike some critics, I genuinely enjoy watching movies regardless of genre. Isn't it though? I was just reading the script at Barnes & Noble (yeah, reading the script--you may be a movie fan, but I'm a movie freak, emphasis on 'freak' :D ) and remembering how much I loved it. I'm so glad it's getting this much love! ♥

I totally respect reading scripts. And yes, it deserves every bit of indie-kid obsession that it's getting.

I love doing it, I don't know why. :D Probably 'cuz I want to write them, ha! I even went to newmarketpress.com tonight to see if they had some of my other favorites to order (they seem to publish a ton), but I couldn't find a few. :P

I just love that it's actually getting awards-love as well, especially Ellen. She did this Oscar round-table thing with James McAvoy, Daniel Day-Lewis, Marion Cotillard, George Clooney and Angelia Jolie--a.k.a. FTW x 6. If Ellen hadn't been up against Marion for the Globe, I so would have wanted her to win!

That's so cool! I'd love to see that.
It's good to talk to another good fan/freak though. Any other favorites this year?

Oooh I'd also love to see that. My brother saw that and loved it. There are so many good movies out! The only one I DON'T want to see is that chipmunt abomination.

Good times. It had a lot of cool stuff to offer. The guy wanted to make a real and scary American monster movie (like Godzilla for Japan) and he did a great job. It was scary and the monster was pretty cool too!

That's a cool concept. What I like is that the commercials never show you what the monster is. It really heightens the suspense.
