Has your tiny school felt claustrophobic? Simply want to find a school with a stronger political scene or a campus that's in city center rather than the cows-and-goats crossroads?
Princeton Review has been my favourite little thing today. Here is what the counselor-o-matic said to me. (I don't expect you to really wade through these, but if you ( Read more... )

Ohio Northern made the top of most of the lists. I'm sure you could see that for yourself though. However, seeing that I know nothing about colleges way up there in Ohio, I can't give good advice. I can tell you that you need to go somewhere that you will be happy. If you stay where you aren't happy, not a lot will come of it. You'll be 120% better where you are happy and content, and you'll enjoy every aspect. Scholarships, scholarships, and more scholarships. You're so smart, and you're a great writer, so BS some stuff in an essay and tell them you need money ASAP.
There's your advice. If my special prize is food, I'll come up with more...

I'm not sure if I'm allowed to give advice. After all, I'm biased. LIFE ROCKS SOMETHING FIERCE AT THE BEIN!

What I'm looking for here, Miss Rachel. Is what would be best for me, so that I will not feel like my life is full of liquid temporary-ness anymore, and so that I will get the college experience that I want. What would you advise me to do, if you weren't attending any of the schools on the lists?

I'm not quite sure what you're looking for in a college experience. I know for a fact that you wouldn't go to Miami, although it's pretty damn high on almost all your lists, as you decided not to apply there last fall. Um, once again, I don't really know what you're looking for. So I can't advise much.

Hence the fact that I said there are things I ignored that I should have looked at more closely, according to le lists prepared by my friends at Princeton.

Mainly what I'm all for right now is a second start where I can actually make myself in a happy Amy, not a sad one. Yes, vague, I know, but...I need there to be stuff going on almost every weekend and not to have my whole floor go home all the time. I just need to learn to be content. Probably something that no where will give me...*damn*

The Math major/amateur statistician in me says 'Why aren't you at Ohio Northern?'

The selfish Doverite hoarder in me says 'Why aren't you at Otterbein?'

Interpret as necessary.
