"Come on we need to run!" He yelled, I was tired and out of breath but he was holding onto my hand pulling me along. I tried to look at his face or the face of the other two running with us but they were a blur. A bunch of men jumped out in front of us, the other two had stopped and yelled at us to continue running. The boy still leading me along ran down an alley leaving the other behind. We managed to run down a couple blocks before we found ourselves surrounded. I looked around at the men, some looked human while others looked like monsters. I was frightened but the other boy pushed me into a little nook. "Stay here Heechul and if I say run, don’t be stubborn and just run." He turned back towards the men and got in a fighting position.
"Wait, --!" I couldn’t control my voice nor could I hear the boy’s name as I shouted. I watched as he began fighting them. He was very good for a twelve-year-old boy and I couldn’t take my eyes off of him until there was a flash of fire. I ducked down further and glanced over to see a scorch mark just a little bit above where my head was. When I looked up one of the men was staring at me and his hand was completely covered in fire as he slowly approached me. I slunk back into the wall not knowing what else to do. The next thing I know there is a big gust of wind and the man goes flying into a wall.
"Heechul!" I looked back over at the other boy as he was looking back at me, worried.
"I’m okay." I reassured him even though I’m not entirely sure it’s true. While he was distracted by me, one of the monster-like men went to strike him from behind. "Watch out!" He quickly spun around at my warning and punched the monster before it had the chance to hit the boy. He looked normal when he was looking at me but once he turned around he looked different. He had black lines across his skin that looked like a tattoo and the wind was swirling around him. He had a dark stare as he continued fighting but he was stronger this time and not at all like he was before. I think I was more frightened of him now then I was of the men attacking us. "--!!!"

I was suddenly sitting in my bed back to being my eighteen-year-old self instead of twelve. The dream felt so real and familiar but I don’t remember ever being in a situation like that. And no one can control fire or wind like that.
"Heechul! Are you awake?" My mother yelled from downstairs.
"Yes, I’m up."
"Alright. Hurry up and come down for breakfast." I got out of bed and headed into the bathroom to wash up before going down to the kitchen. "Morning omma. Where are appa and noona?" I asked sitting down to eat my breakfast.
"They went to send the last few boxes to the new house before we leave. Are you all packed?"
"Almost. I just need to add the last couple of things to my bag after I get ready."
"Well we’re leaving in two hours, so make sure you’re ready with your bags in the van."
"Yes omma." I said as I finished my breakfast. I ran back to my room and changed into the clothes I had set out last night before fixing my hair and grabbing the last of my things from the bathroom. We were moving to Korea today and although most of my stuff has been shipped there I had to get the last few items that I’m taking on the plane with me. I was born in Korea but moved when I was real young, I still speak Korean since we visit my grandparents once a year and they don’t speak English. My omma also uses Korean around the house so I’m not worried about any language barriers. I’m more worried about meeting people, I’ve always had a hard time getting along with others and the one friend I had for a few years moved two years ago.
"Heechul. Are you ready?" Appa shouted up. I hadn’t realized that an hour and a half had already passed.
"Give me one minute!" I shouted back. I grabbed my pictures from the desk and carefully wrapped them before setting them in my suitcase. I also turned off my phone and packed it along with my laptop, mp3 player in my carry-on bag. The last thing I needed to grab was my bracelet and the necklace I’ve never gone without since I got it six years ago. I don’t remember how I got it but it’s always been important to me.
"Hurry up we need to leave soon."
"Coming Appa." I grabbed my suitcase and carry-on bag and dragged it downstairs, taking a quick look back at my now empty room, well except for the furniture. My appa took my suitcase and loaded it into the van we rented from the airport since we sold our cars already.
"Get in, it’s time to go." Omma said nudging me into the van as she got in herself. I guess this is the last time I’m going to see my home for the last fourteen years. I guess it’s time to start a new life in Korea.
A/N: A new story I'm planning on writting after I finish Light Even in Shadows so it'll be a while but I wanted to know what everyone thought about it.
Tell me what you think.
