Summary: Yesung gets revenge for his birthday by making Kyuhyun play a similar game.

"Ah here you are, Kyuhyunie." Jongwoon said as he walked into the magnae’s room.
"Hyung, you’re home?" Kyuhyun glanced over from the game on his computer.
"Yeah, we just got back a few minutes ago. I’m exhausted. I think I’m just going to head to bed."
"Okay. Did you need something else or did you just come in to tell me that?"
"Well there was one other thing. It’s after midnight so happy birthday Kyuhyunie." Jongwoon forced Kyuhyun to look at him before placing a sweet kiss on the younger’s lips.
"Hyung you’re gonna make me lose."
"Would you rather I wasn’t the first to wish you a happy birthday and give you a birthday kiss?"
"…No…" He grumbled. "But you could’ve waited until I finished this round."
"Nope. Didn’t you hear what I said earlier. I’m exhausted and going to bed. So goodnight now. I have to be up early in the morning."
"Fine. Goodnight hyung."
"Kyuhyun. Kyuhyunie. It’s time to get up." Jungsu shook Kyuhyun until he finally opened his eyes and groggily sat up. "Good morning. I’ve got schedules to go to and wanted to make sure you got your breakfast before I left. Happy birthday, don’t let your breakfast get cold and here." Jungsu passed the sleepy magnae a large puzzle piece with Jungsu’s picture and a 1 on it. There was also a note with it.
"Why does this seem familiar?" The older shrugged and ruffled the youngest’s hair before leaving.
"Have fun kiddo."
Kyuhyun rolled his eyes as the leader left and opened the note.
It’s finally your turn. I know you know it’s me so I’m not going to hide it with my notes.
You know the basic rules of what will happen but I decided to add a little twist to it. I’m not going to tell you where you are going, you have to figure it out on your own.
There are fifteen puzzle pieces, find them all and take them to the roof. You know the one.
Now for the next piece:
You made me go here and we spend a handful of quick dates when we have a little time. There won’t be a balloon for you but I know you can find it.
‘Really Jongwoon hyung? I guess I can’t be too surprised.’ Kyuhyun thought after reading the note. He found his breakfast set out nicely on the table and was glad that he didn’t need to get breakfast for himself on his birthday. Once finished he set out to the first place, knowing exactly where he had to go; the Han River. It was a short drive to the usual spot by Handel and Gretel and the KBS building. He wandered around for awhile before he came across their usual bench. Taped to the back was another note and Hangeng’s puzzle piece with a 3 on it. He put the piece in his bag with Jungsu’s and read the note.
So you found the next piece, good job. It wasn’t that hard to find though, was it? I wanted to bring you here and I didn’t know where to put Hangeng’s piece. So Han River, Han Geng, yeah? Yeah? Okay a little lame I know. But you get the idea.
Well for the next one:
They loved it while it was torture for us. They drag us out with them whenever they can and we never miss this place. Though the best time was when we managed to ditch them and hide in the janitors closet. Those two wouldn’t talk to us for a week after that. Still makes me laugh. But anyway, you should know where you’re going.
"Shopping with Heechul hyung and ZhouMi hyung. Always an interesting trip. I guess I’m off to the mall now." Kyuhyun walked back to his car, careful not to be seen by fans in the area and drove off towards the mall. Heechul and Mimi had their favorite shop that they never miss whenever they go shopping and they force Kyuhyun and Jongwoon to stand there and hold all their bags. Henry and Hangeng always found a way out of it and no one knows how. The puzzle pieces were taped to the mannequins in the middle of the store and Heechul’s held a note with it.
See. I knew you could find it. Not like the memories aren’t fresh in our minds since they took us out last week. Ugh. At least we know how to escape now.
Well that’s four pieces down, eleven to go. Next one isn’t that far:
He doesn’t always get to spend a lot of time with us, so when we have it we go to our favorite shop. We can spend hours in there just talking and hanging out. Eh, you should figure it.
"Hmm close by, and it’s our favorite shop. He must be talking about the music store. I don’t know of any other place here that we can spend hours in. So that must make it Henry’s piece. So far this is way too easy." Kyuhyun put the piece and the note away and walked the short trip across the mall to the music store. He checked around the CD cases and the little lounge area they had and even the practice rooms but could not find it. Finally he saw something sticking out from behind the violin on display and carefully pulled the piece and note out. Kyuhyun was correct on his assumption of it being Henry and just slipped the puzzle piece in his bag and going right to the note.
Did I stump you at all? Well I know you know the music store but did you have problems finding the piece? I hope so, I tried so hard to find a good hiding spot.

He drags us here whenever we get that morning free. Although we are not like Hanchul, we would still rather not go if it could be helped.
"What? What does he mean by that?" Kyuhyun took a seat at the lounge in the music store while he tried to figure out where his boyfriend was taking him. "So, ‘That morning’, meaning once a week? Or Jongwoon could’ve messed up. But, not like Hanchul? Ah, how did he suddenly become so cryptic? Okay well once a week, we are dragged somewhere if we are free. It must be a specific morning since we get various ones free. Who do I have left to find? Mine, Jongwoon’s, Wookie, Sungmin, Shindong, Kangin, Kibum, Siwon, Hyukjae, and Donghae. Siwon has church on Sundays. Is that what he’s talking about? Well Hanchul is atheist but neither Jongwoon or I are. Aha that must be it!" Kyuhyun jumped up once he figured it, startling the other customers in the store. "Ah, sorry." He quietly said before running out of the store and driving to Siwon’s church. The items were posted out in the open on the doors, so Kyuhyun didn’t need to go hunting to find them. He got back in his car before opening the note.
Okay, I know that one had to have confused you for a bit. But you found it anyways. Should I congratulate you? Ah you wouldn’t like that, you want to get this done and over with. But be patient, it’s my revenge though you should love what happens in the end.
Next:
Time for ours. Ours are with our mothers. They have always been so loving to us and supportive of our relationship, so why not give them our pieces? You may find someone else along the way. So you have a chance to save some time…sort of.
"Our moms? Well my mom is at Kona Beans most of the time, and Jongwoon’s at Handel and Gretel. Kona Beans is closer so I guess I’ll head there." Kona beans wasn’t to far from the church but when he arrived it was swarming with fans amongst the average customer. Fan instantly began asking for autographs and pictures and soon as they spotted him, and not one to ruin his image, he agreed to a handful. Once he made it behind the counter, the magnae asked the other moms if his was there. Both said no but Sungmin’s mom asked him to wait a moment before she pulled out Sungmin’s puzzle piece and another note.
So did you find this when looking for ours? Our moms are not in their usual places, cause well that would be too easy. I’m not going to give you the hints for the next because you’ll get it when you find ours. If you found this later well, then you know this was just a pass through to visit the moms.
"Thanks. I’m leaving now."
"Bye Kyuhyunie." The mom’s said as he left in search for the other moms. He pulled out his phone and decided to call his mom.
"Yeoboseyo?"
"Hi mom."
"Hi Kyuhyun. Happy birthday."
"Thanks mom. Hey are you with Jongwoon hyung’s mom?"
"Yup, she’s sitting right next to me."
"Well where are you? I have some time and since everyone else is busy I thought I would come visit. But you weren’t at Kona Beans."
"Oh, Kyuhyunie, I can’t tell you that. That would be breaking the rules of the game."
"Really mom? Can you at least give me a hint?"
"Oh well I guess we can do that. We are at a place you and Woonie know well. It’s close to home and you come here whenever you’re upset. Does that help?"
"Close to home? We go there when upset? The park. Okay thanks mom, see you soon."
"By Kyuhyunie." He hung up the phone and drove back to the dorms and stopped at the park. He found their moms sitting on a bench by the playground happily chatting.
"Found you."
"Kyuhyun, is that anyway to greet your mother?" She asked staring him down.
"Sorry mom. Do you have the puzzle pieces?"
"Yes we do. Here I have Woonie’s." Kyuhyun’s mom pulled out Jongwoon’s piece while Jongwoon’s mom pulled out his along with a note.
"Thanks mom." He said to both taking the puzzle pieces and putting them in the bag with the rest.
You found our moms. Yeah our park. It’s the place we both go to when upset. When didn’t even realize it at first, both thinking that it was our own little spot. But now it’s ours.

Next:
It’s the place where we really got to know each other when you first joined and we made our little trio, who still can’t be broken apart.
"He made it easy again."
"Well after giving you a couple tough ones, why would you complain about an easy one?"
"I guess, but I like a challenge. Anyways, I have to go get Wookie hyung’s piece now. Bye."
"Bye, see you later Kyuhyunie." He waved bye to the mothers and headed off towards the recording studio. Some trainees were currently using the usual room they used and Kyuhyun wandered through the other ones to find the piece. He finally found it sitting in the chair of one of the smaller rooms.
You thought it was in the usual room first, huh? Nope, I put it in the first room we got together in, which was this one. We only moved to the bigger one a couple years ago, we had lots of memories in this one first. Or did you forget?
10/15 almost done.
You really close to the next one:
We spend days in this room, training, practicing, using the little energy we have to give the best performance possible.
Kyuhyun walked downstairs to the dance rooms and found their practice room for choreography. The iconic cloud screens were blocking the back mirrors as usual and Shindong’s puzzle piece was taped to the other wall of mirrors.
Yeah, easy I know. Meh.
Next:
Don’t you remember when we were trainees and doing competitions still? It was always fun yet terrifying to stand on that stage and have your talents be compared to others. Last year we had the chance to host one but this year it got passed to a couple of our teammates. Their pieces are there.
"Hyukjae and Donghae are hosting a dance competition, so I guess it’s there. But where is the competition being held? I forget from last year and I didn’t listen to them. Ugh. Guess I need to look it up on my phone." Kyuhyun got on his phone’s internet and looked up the competition’s location and set up a GPS to guide him there. The place was crowd and he careful hid himself as he wandered through the crowd towards the backstage area. It took him awhile to convince the guard to let him in. First, he headed to Donghae and Hyukjae’s dressing room.
"Hey Kyu." Donghae said behind him as he walked into the room.
"Oh hey hyung. Did you by any chance get something from Jongwoon hyung today?"
"He was here but I don’t remember him giving me anything."
"Which means he hid it." Kyuhyun sighed but started looking around the room for the two puzzle pieces. When he couldn’t find it, he headed up towards the stage area. His two hyungs had a booth they were sitting at and each puzzle piece was taped to the back of their chair. "Found them, finally."
So you found them. Good. Only two more to go. I won’t spend a lot of time with random words this time.
Well, the next one:
You used to do these until the managers yelled at you. We still have a member who still shows up for one every once in a while. He’s participating in one today. You made me go to yours and cheer you on all the time. And were upset any time you lost. Go find it.
"I used to do them? Mangers stopped me? I think a lot of things fall under that category…though I still do most of them. Some else does something I did….that narrows it down…a bit. Though if I made him cheer me on it was probably a tournament. Oh there is one of those today, huh. Well I guess I’ll head over there and see if someone is there." After saying goodbye to his hyungs he pushed through the crowd, making sure his hoodie covered his face, so he wasn’t recognized. The tournament hall wasn’t too far from the dance competition so it only took him a few minutes to get there. The hall was a lot less crowded then the dance competition, but he was still careful not to be seen. He took a look at the players’ list and found Kibum’s name on it. "Oh Kibum. I forgot about him." He looked up Kibum’s spot and walked into the main hall. He made his way to the center where Kibum was seated, waiting for the next round to start. "Hey hyung."
"Oh Kyuhyun, what are you doing here?"
"Jongwoon hyung sent me on a hunt for my birthday."
"Oh right his revenge for a couple years ago."
"Yeah, that’s it." Kyuhyun sighed but found a puzzle piece and note being shoved in his face.
"Here. I was to give this to you. Have fun. Happy birthday."
"Thanks hyung. See you later."
"Yeah, later." Kibum prepared himself for the next round that was about to start as Kyuhyun left.
One more to go. Before the end. Are you excited? Or annoyed. I think it might be both. But now you understand how I felt on my birthday.
Well, last one:
I go willingly but he has to drag you along, though he doesn’t always pick the best time to go. He likes having us there but he doesn’t like it when I beat him, so he works harder to try and win. Last one so that should help.
"The only person I have left to find is Kangin. Kangin likes to work out and he looses in matches against Jongwoon often, so I guess that would be it. I’m off to the gym. And for once, not to work out." The gym was back towards the dorms so it was a bit of a drive to get there and traffic wasn’t making his trip any faster. When he finally arrived, he had no clue where to start looking. There wasn’t a specific place he could think of. Kyuhyun had asked at the front desk if they knew of anything but got nothing other then that they saw Jongwoon earlier in the morning. As he was wandering around the gym, he found a poorly drawn arrow taped to the wall. He decided to take a chance and follow it and a few others he found along the way. The arrows led him to a room with a boxing ring that Jongwoon and Kangin have used for their competitions occasionally. The puzzle piece was lying in the middle of the ring and Kyuhyun was glad his search was finally over.
You found it. You had to use the arrows, didn’t you? I bet you did. You might not think about it but the times the three of us spent in this room just hanging out and practicing and proving who is stronger and having you cheer me on is very memorable to me.
You have all the pieces now, so take them to the roof. You’ll find out what to do next there.
Kyuhyun took the piece and headed to their rooftop, the very rooftop that Kyuhyun had confessed to Jongwoon on the other’s birthday a couple years ago. Sometimes they would escape to the rooftop and just have some alone time together when they feel separated due to work. He could drive there in his sleep if he had too. Once he arrived, he found a board with an attached note in the middle of the roof.
These are the last instructions I’ll be giving you. Take all the puzzle pieces and place them on the board IN ORDER. That is very important. It will not work if it’s not put together correctly. Once you have it up, pull the picture off from the bottom left corner.
"Uh okay then, simple enough." Kyuhyun dumped all the pieces out on a table next to the board and dug out Jungsu’s piece first and placed it on the board. He was careful to put all the pieces up in order so he didn’t mess anything up and have an angry boyfriend on his birthday. Ryeowook was in the bottom left corner and the edge was separated a little bit and Kyuhyun was curious as to how he missed that when he first got the piece. He shrugged it off and pulled the tab. As it came off it grabbed the paper from each of the other pieces revealing one full picture underneath. The picture left Kyuhyun frozen for a couple minutes. It was Jongwoon holding out a ring with the words "Will you marry me?" written over it. "How am I suppose to answer that if it’s a picture?"
"By turning around." A familiar voice said behind him. Kyuhyun turned around to see his boyfriend copying the picture perfectly. "So do I need to ask it or will you just answer?"
"Why must you ask a question you already know the answer to? Of course I’ll marry you. I wouldn’t stick with you for two years if I planned on leaving you."
"I didn’t think you would. But I still had to ask you." Jongwoon stepped forward and placed the ring on Kyuhyun’s finger before giving him a kiss. "Now did you enjoy your birthday surprise?"
"Yes. But don’t tell me this is my only gift."
"No. I got you an actual birthday present. I’m not you who tried to make your confession your present."
"Hey I got you that CD too and a party."
"Yeah…those still don’t count since I had to get it and help set up my party." Jongwoon teased the younger but pulled him to head back home.
"So did you wait long? I think I went through the pieces pretty quick. And I thought you had schedules for most of today."
"I did but everyone knew about my plan. I had Kibum set all the pieces up to a trigger that would text my phone whenever they were taken off. And then for our moms and the members you found, they texted me once you left, so I get here only a couple minutes before you did."
"Why didn’t I think of that? It took you way too long to finish mine, so I ended up falling asleep."
"I know I had to wake you up like Snow white."
"I’m not snow white. And it was your fault for taking too long."
"I know, I’m sorry. But hey we have time to have a nice long party with everyone at home and still have some time for ourselves later tonight."
"Good, cause I’m tired of running around all day."
"Well don’t fall asleep, we have a long night."
"It’s your fault if I do."
"Sure." When they arrived home, everyone else was waiting for them with a party all set up to celebrate both Kyuhyun’s birthday and the engagement. Once everyone headed back to their rooms, Kyuhyun and Jongwoon were cuddling on the older’s bed.
"Thanks hyung."
"For what?"
"For giving me an awesome birthday."
"Well what kind of fiancé would I be if I didn’t?"
"A bad one. I love you." Kyuhyun yawned and rolled further into the older to sleep.
"I love you too Kyuhyun. Good night. Happy birthday."
A/N: Okay so this is a tiny bit late. Ugh this day was soo tiring. Work was long and I didn't get time to write this through the week like I planned and so also didn't get to go through it as much as I usually do. I hope it's still good though.
