For Char and other Christians.

Christians can be hipocrites. Christians can be assholes. Christians can be George Bush. Sadly, it seems that half (or more) of Christians out there are have no idea what they're doing. They understand that they recieve acceptance and fulfillment from God, so they take that. And otherwise they just love feeling that they're holier than everyone ( Read more... )

Just to make things clear, I know this was brought on by my post, and I wan't ever referring to Char.

I was referring to something that has gone on in my life recently. Personally. And it shook me.

Like I said in my post, I'm not perfect. I fully admit that I, myself am a hypocrite. But it doesn't mean that I have to like being a hypocrite, or like hanging out with hypocrites.

Again, like I said, I'm not anyone's judge, jury, or executioner. I'm a person voicing my opinions. I've had enough of excepting mediocrity, and wanted to say and do something about it.

And I know that for me, it starts in the mirror.

I definitely do not want you to feel defensive about my post. I was writing it because of your post but not because I think what you said was wrong or that Char was right. I do think that we haven't been good to Char but I also agree with what you said. I guess I was writing because I am sick of Dartmouth stuff. It's just like you said, they slander people who do what they think is wrong and then they go and do it themselves. I have no doubt that you've been through crap with them and I back you 100%.

Also, I'm sorry for calling you Jennie Roy, I use it not because I don't know you but because I think it sounds cute. I also think you shouldn't presume people would know that it brings bad feelings about your dad. My dad and I don't talk but I have never been uncomfortable with my last name. If we are your friends, you should have just said! :) I am more happy to call you Jennie or maybe Jennie-chan or something, or whatever.

Ok, cool. Yeah, I know I haven't ever mentioned it to people, I just assumed that they would figure that it wouldn't be my favorite thing to hear since they knew me brfore and after it happened. Ever since my dad left, I've wanted to change my last name to my mom's maiden name, but I guess that's a harder thing to do than I thought, so I just never did. I know I should have told people, but it's just kind of awkward to be like "Hey, could you not call me that anymore please?"...I really hate awkward situations and confrontations of any kind....so I just always let it slide even though it bothered me...Anywho, I didn't mean to start up this big "thing" with my post, but whatever, it's done and over with now. ^_^
