So excited.

So... I'm moving. Just to Chelsea. But this may mean a major lifestyle change. No more college town. No more sitting on porches and watching as the cars pass. No porch. B-Day was alright. I've come to terms with being 23.

My brother just told me he's finally moving out of my mom's house. Apparently, he and three of his friends found a 5-bedroom house to rent in downtown Toledo for only $500 bucks a month. They are each only paying $125 bucks A MONTH on rent.

Ann Arbor makes me sick sometimes.

Um, I got a job. Reporting. 26K salary plus benefits. In Chelsea. I start July 1st and have my drug test on Thursday. It should be a really good job -- I'll be the only reporter covering the Chelsea community, I'll be doing layout and taking photographs -- it'll basically be like having my own paper. This SUCKS.

So I gave John my two week notice at The Custom Fox. Part of me feels like an idiot for doing it, since I am literally getting paid 9 bucks an hour to watch TV (most of the time, anyway). But it still felt pretty good to be able to do it. I'm pretty sure I'll have another job by the time my two weeks is up, and if not... I could use a week or two ( Read more... )

So we left Ann Arbor at noon on Saturday and arrived at Austin at 9:30 p.m. today. We made some really excellant time on the highways, and time flew right on by... we stopped twice yesterday in Kentucky (once to look at the scenery and once to eat) and made it to Memphis real early in the morning.
