I've started writting a book. Its downstairs on the coffee table talking about my cat garden and now that I'm up here in the dark computer room again Chloe is moe-ing in anger by the coffee table. Last night I talked to an old friend online. He's been with me in a silent shadow of friendship for years, since Mark even. Last night was the first time he's really opened up to me about his problems. I'm proud of him for letting me leap into his mind for a while.

I need a national insurance number. Today I'm going to Bury to some office we found in the yell-o pages, Suffolk County Council. Honestly I don't know if we're going to the right place. The whole time I've been in this country I've gotten mixed messages from people about what to do in the mater.....even the family support center on base was no help ( Read more... )

When I was a child, perhaps 5 years old, my sister and I made a cemetery for bugs under our gramma's gardenia bush. The gardenia was sittuated in a shaded area of the porch between the carport and the house, nestled in a 5 by 5 foot square of rocks. I'm having a fabulous time today. I got a new planter for the garden and installed a conglomeration of pansies, sweet peas, periwinkle, some sorta pine bush I really like, and other miscellany. Then I planted poppie seeds and random cottage garden seeds. I love playing with dirt.
