3 weeks until the due date; and im getting increadibly nervous.
emotions are running wild i think... seeing as how ive had my run down of what the adoption procedure is goin to be - im annoyed that nothing will be happening until after the birth

question, have you trid going througha private adoption agency. They are more supportive of you knowing where the child is going, the "parents" to be and how to be involved if you choose to do si.
There are open and closed adoptions.
Open adoptions is where the child knows that he/she is adopted, the parent can visit and send presents around holidays and closed adoptions are where you the child wont know you, wont be allowed any contac with you until age 18, so on and so forth, just curious thats all :)

It seems like you are making a great decision to give this child to another couple, but it also seems like since you care where the child is going and whatnot that you'd be a good candidate for open adoption as well.
the foster care system is great, but in all honesty going through a private agency is much more better for both parties.

ive not looked into private adoption, im not too sure if the system would be any different?
apparently the agency i am with at the moment considers all of their adoptions as 'open' therefore the child will always know its adopted. along with the age actually being 16... when they can first start making contact. i dont know if thats by law but thats deffinately how 'the scottish adoption agency' runs it.

i caree where the child is placed due to thinking it will be better off there than kept with me. :)
