I seem to remember there being a players guide/manual for PD's Maelstrom? if I dreamed it please ignore me or throw rotten tomatoes and poke me with a stick till I attack you, whatever rings your bell. Y'see the online rules are (unlike me) a bit thin on detail, or I have been reading them upside down or somesuch. I needs to know about Eidolons, ( Read more... )

Doubt that Eidelon 101 is online.
They tends not to tell you Certain Stuff until you are doing it.
This seems to apply to most of the awakened races.

Oooh 'Certain Stuff' eh? *taps side of nose in a knowing fashion**
Is there a Players Guide? I thought I got one sent before the first Maelstrom event but I am not sure that I didn't imagine it.
But thanks any road Mr DM.

*hasn't got a clue really

You'll get sent a sheet with your ticket, I guess any time soon. It'll tell you all the sekrits that no one else must know.

Originally the mailing sent out a rules guide and an almanac of the known world, but it only had a paragraph or two about eidolons in the rules. I'm not sure where our copy is, as everything is packed upstairs but when I find it I'll ring you up if it has any juicy information in. Ours is a bit out of date as well.

E-mail PeeDee and ask for the eidolon briefing sheet so you can read and absorb it before the event. Ther's about ninety pages of it. Do not get complacent; it will have changed again by the time I finish typing this sentence.

"Eidolons a cheap way of PD facillitating the prayer system without having to knit anymore ref tabards? I mean I knew I was gullible but really.."

No.

Eidolons are in as PCs because they can Fall which can be Cool, and because being the Voice Of God can be cool.

I leave it there.

Before I start seeming bitter.

Ahh too late, too late Mr H...creative customer/service provider interface already has me feeling less than bouyant.

Should I just save mi spare time for sleeping instead of making kit for this and just scribble summink on mi head and wear whatever kit I have to hand? Am I going to be dreadfully dissapointed in my first weekend away from home alone and not pregnant or with babe in arms in....oh years and years?
*crosses fingers*
