Jun 17, 2011 02:00

Right, I've bin reading lots of posts on the Sf mind meldy thing and other places about women in SF. I lack the knowledge to join in, so I dun writ a story, tonight, in a bit of a rush. So please forgive typos and bad grammar (my regular readers generally do, be happy, I haven't written anything in french) Comments more than welcome.

I made myself sad when I wrote it, but Nish and their family made me happy. I'm just too ignorant to join in, on debates about gender in genre(s).

I enjoyed reading it for many reasons.

Did it hang together as an interestin (albeit short!) story would you say? Or did it come across as a polemic? No right or wrong, just curious. Sorry to push, as I say I'm trying to get mi aim in, refining down from sledgehammer to quill nib, or tryin' to;)

That's a really nice story. Made me a little sad, but the ending was good.

I should also have said that I really enjoyed it. I found it overtly feminist, even though the main protagonist is male and the pathos is from the male character at the end.
