I have noticed a drop off of LJ posts. It's a shame, I really like Lj. It's cosy, personal, easy to defend:) And I've met a fair few of the people who are on it (I do not presume to call all here 'friends', as nice as that would be, 'twould be, er...presumptuous) But you know, it's mostly a nice little hang out. I love Twitter, it gets frustrating

I quit lj and came back because I don't get to see people very often in the real world so I guess I need this web-crack.
A good long while ago I taught myself basic html using tutorials on webmonkey, fer example http://www.webmonkey.com/2010/02/html_cheatsheet/ It's looking a whole lot slicker than it was a few years ago. I dunno if anyone can recommend something better, but I found their stuff really good.
