Egad!

They gave me a blackberry pearl at work!

I can *barely* use a cell phone to make a regular call... I had to get Matt to send a text to Dave. I know nothing about abbreviating words or what all the little acronyms mean.

I've already dropped it and got it stuck in its little case. And it keeps buzzing and beeping at me :-(

sarah, you are one of the brightest people i know. it's made to be very user friendly, and it's really simple to learn. there is a book that will explain it to you, and if there isn't, there's the internet. you're already quite proficient at using a computer, and i guarantee you that that is 1000x harder than using your blueberry will be. i saw a dude using one on the bus yesterday, and he was litterally just sending an email. there were no little acronyms or abbreviated words... i know i never use anything but a full words when i text with my dinky 3-year-old phone :) soon those buzzes and beeps will become how you're favourite signals from your favourite new tool.
