oh my... i'm sitting here, imploring Laura to believe him... to run after him... to jump in his arms and tell him she loves him too... that she does believe him...

but! i do understand her hesitation... i, too, would have a hard time believing him.

and i LOVE Mrs. Clark here. yes, he hurt Laura, and she knows this... but i also firmly believe that she knows that Laura loves Charles, and that Charles loves Laura... and like any mother, she wants her daughter to be happy, and she knows, once they get past this little bump, that Charles and Laura WILL be happy together!!

and wow... get a couple mochas in me, and i ramble all over the place...
