I got all the papers through on Saturday and the meeting is this Saturday- officially I should only mark about 10 in pencil before the meeting- I am going to try to clear 15 at least to get  head start

not ideal really.. its difficult as everyone seems to thin London is central for people when Manchester or as you say Birmingham is just as easily reached.. try not to stress toomuch and leave plenty of time to get from a-b and back again.. take your sat nav at least it can point you in the right direction...
I dont like London I must say even though I do go from time to time

All our marking courses are on Saturdays too. At least, in English. Other subjects seem to have teachers off every week of school to go to SQA courses. Everything up here is in either Edinburgh or Glasgow, which is fine if you live in the Central belt, not so if you're up north. Commom sense never does seem to prevail with these people. It does seem quite scary navigating in London by yourself, hope it goes ok.
