spring cleaning part deaux

I found another!!  And this one isn't that bad, actually.  In fact, I think this one was published in a some sort of big name anthology for high school kids.

The rain comes down
bringing good fortune.
It covers the ground in star-filled puddles;
small worlds that reflect back our own,
like so many mirrors.
There's movement in that liquid glass
and I spin around to look.
I see myself,
just me, looking back.
Or is it?
That other me...
She is sad and crying,
sniffling away her sadness.
While on my face
there is a smile,
hiding the pain within.
I always wonder,
will it ever stop?
The wet harbinger of good luck?
Then I know,
deep in my heart,
that hardships are ahead.
So, I smile throughout the rain,
and I laugh instead of cry.
And I hope the world floods over with good luck!
