flyintoheaven fic for her, because she's been writing so many fics for people recently ♥ Sorry if I took some ideas from your fic too. |D:; And sorry for the post spam, guys. I'll move this to my writing journal later when I'm not horribly lazy :<
_____
I'll be your dream, I'll be your wish
I'll be your fantasy
I'll be your hope, I'll be your loveThe first time she meets Choi Minho is at a department store, somewhat nearby her rented apartment in Korea. She doesn't recognize him at first, with his eyes covered by a pair of shades (which oddly reminded her of Lady Gaga at first) and his long hair kept tucked safely under a cap. But then his phones rings all of a sudden and he's on the phone rambling too fast in Korean for her to grasp what he's saying, but she catches the words "Onew-hyung" and "toy gun". Something clicks in her mind -- she remembers how that soft but low chuckle is often heard over the speakers of her computer, and even though it's a bit different (just so much more real, and maybe just slightly huskier) in reality, she recognises it.
And somehow, through the mist of shock that clouded her mind, she catches herself following him all the way to the counter, mouth open and practically drooling. Except she realizes she's a bit slow, because she finds herself being stared down by heavy lashes through two grey lens, probably having the word "stalker" plastered all over her image in Minho's mind. She freezes, cursing at herself for how stupid she looks with her mouth gaping wide, not sure what to say. People as dashing as Minho tend to do things to her, even if half of his handsome was hidden behind weird accessories. But her thoughts were cut off again as Minho looks as though he's about to speak, and she quickly forces out some sort of reason for her eccentricity. Except it doesn't come out as planned.
"I love you," she says, a little too loudly. And Minho's too shocked to do anything but to take off his sunglasses and take a good look at her properly.
Be everything that you need
I'll love you more with every breath
Truly, madly, deeply do
A few weeks after Minho pulls her away from the store to stop her from blurting anything else, she's been granted excess to the dorm. There she meets Onew, who's smile is more dazzling in real life but as chicken-obssessed as fanfiction had always described him. Then there was Jonghyun, who seemed to take pride in the fact that he was taller than her and even asked her if she'd like to dye her hair blonde. Key, on the other hand (hands?), slowly let his laughter build up and explode when Minho told him how they had met. And Taemin reminded him of Disney no matter what way she looked at him -- setting impossible weight ideals. They're all just a bit different from what she had expected, but they click anyway. Jonghyun even once told her that she'd have been part of the group long ago if there weren't so many crazy noonas out there, and if she was a guy.
It doesn't take more than a few days for Minho to repeat what she had said to him so many days ago.
I will be strong, I will be faithful
'Cause I'm counting on
A new beginnin'
A reason for livin'
A deeper meanin', yea
They try to keep it quiet, the whole dating thing. But it doesn't stop Minho's glib tongue, muttering glib sweet-nothings --make that sweet-everythings-- into her ear during their rare meet-ups. Sometimes she looks back and doesn't quite believe it, because Minho has to be one of the best things that has happened to her, but then a chaste kiss blows her doubts away with the smell of his breath, filled with cinnamon and all kinds of cheesy things they say you'll smell when they say you fall in love. She confides this to no one, with the exception of Joey through a swift text, but all she gets in return is a vow not to spread the news and a simple one-lined answer that says "Ring Ding Dong".
And she figures Joey ought to hurry up to Korea so she can meet Minho.
And I want to stand with you on a mountain
I want to bathe with you in the sea
I want to lay like this forever
Until the sky falls down on meAfter a while, everyone gets a little nervous. And with all the noona fans start suspecting that something's up with this new "boy" that Minho always ends up hanging around with (long story short -- Key's suggestion of wearing a wig just so they can meet up more), she begins to have a nervous breakdown. She's suddenly reminded of that one article she read about someone being killed for not knowing "Nobody", and her heart does a complete flip when she thinks of what the noona fans will do to her if they find out. She decides that it's about time she leaves the group alone for a while.
But one can only ignore texts and messages for so long, and pretty soon, Minho's outside her door, practically calling out for her just to see if she's okay. And she realizes how selfish she's probably been when she opens the door to see him nearly in tears.
"Don't do that anymore," he says simply, and she figures she's glad Choi Minho is a man of few words when she sobs into his shirt (that twenty or thirty centimetres difference be damned).
Edit: Orz, sorry. Forgot to cut ;-;
