From my quest on looking up apartments there awhile back , it is good to say finding anything under $1000 is inpracticle. most 2 bdrs range from a good $1200-$3000. Subleting might be the best bet in finding something even cheaper. It seemed the 3bdr apartments were the best deals in all, most under $2000. Find another person and i think y'all could handle it well. this was mostly in the brooklyn area by the way...

Well luckily my parents pay ... but I would say that at least in Williamsburg you could get a 2 bedroom for under $2000. Maybe a true two bedroom for $1800? I mean if you are having three people sharing a 2 bedroom space that is quite manageable I would think. It is the summertime utility bills that got me... like when the electricity bill comes and it is $200 +. I think you should move to Williamsburg because a.) you can get more space for less money and b.) we can be neighbors!

p.s. though if you ended up looking for a 3-bedroom and needed an extra roommate I would be very very interested. I mean if you don't mind cats and me.

cats are a big plus, considering the fact that erica, my friend kelly and i are all cat freaks!

Well... let me know. If you end up getting serious about getting an apartment and want another person I think it would be fun!
