SPCA wouldn't have done anything(or probably put it to sleep)
There was probably only 1 way to help the squirrel and it'd probably be to nurse it back to health on my own.

Yes. SPCA would put it to sleep. I once sent a nice jack russell who almost got run down by a car. They gave me a week to find the owner or else it will be put to sleep. But they paid for advertising in Classifieds for the weekend to look for the owner. Cannot blame them la, really lack of space. And they must think I'm the actual owner trying to bluff them saying I found the lil bugger.
