garden accomplishments!

The garden was not nearly as bad as i expected.
I met up with co-gardener Sarah and her lovely pooch Raisin. our tulip greens are up, its VERY exciting. Last year we had two garden plots and it was overwhelming. This year we are very excited about our downsizing. I was still tired from my long run yesterday so I made Sarah do all the hard shoveling and turning of the dirt. We weeded and turned soil in two of the beds. I pruned back our very large sage plant. Sarah also gave the strawberries some love. I cannot wait for the strawberries, last year they were so awesome and tasty. Sarah had to leave and so i ended up doing planting on my own. Here's what i did:
Several rows of purple onions: transplants, sets & seeds
two rows of white/yellow onions: white sets and yellow seeds
1 row leeks
1 row nasturtium
1 row red radish
1 row pak choi
1 row all star gourmet lettuce
1 row spinach
1 row bib lettuce

Man it looks like a lot more when i list it out.
Annnnnd some overly bright pics taken on my cameraphone:

The friendly gnome, Humphrey, looking over the asparagus hills.

A gnome laughing among the tulip and daffodil tops.

Is this what the inside of a tulip looks like?

Newly planted rows and the old sage plant.

Mooning gnome!

When i was driving home I looked down and saw my dirty hand, which made me smile real huge.
