I now have a parking lot outside. Plow did beautiful work so I am no longer snowbound but am housebound for the moment. Car ran on Sunday & I did a couple errands after I was plowed out. I think yesterday & today are Broken Stuff for the Dittrichs Day...

My share of it: Bus got rear-ended on the way home last night. No one in the bus felt a thing but there was a delay while information was exchanged. Next up, the screen on my netbook computer broke. I'm not terribly upset about it, but still. Lastly, a really good burger place near our house burned last night. I guess they plan on re-opening, but it's going to be months and there was a lot of memorabilia and stuff that's irreplaceable. It's a little hole-in-the-wall and it's not going to be quite the same...

David Sandmann just left. Car is running and warming up now. Will let it run 15 or so minutes more and then do a few errands (groceries) and top off the tank.Has 3/4 tank now. Will not shut it off till I get home though and will continue to run it every few hours like do the washer in the house. He charged it up a bit with his truck and used lots of ether. 2nd try at that worked. Looked & says Johnsons should be able to place a headbolt heater,or whatever on car. He agrees Larsens just didn't want to do it for me when I got the car.
Sorry about your neighborhood burger place. I think I heard about it on the news last night but wasn't really paying attention.
