Oh. My. God.
I am absolutely sickened by what happened to Bug this week. A case of mistaken identity and some research to engineer an anti-viral medicine and all of the sudden, Homeland Security's whisked him away and refused him a lawyer. They kept him for days, didn't let him sleep, and went so far as to torture him. At least I'm pretty damn sure they tortured him; it was implied but (thankfully) not shown.
I can't believe they actually do this to people! It's like we just decided that because we were attacked one day that we would throw due process out the window and forget over 200 years of democracy. We're not the first country to have been attacked by terrorists, for God's sake! You don't see this type of thing in other countries!
I'm just so angry, I can't put it into words. I know that Bug is just a tv character, but the fact that this is actually happening is just... Argh!!!
