sooo....nyc. i did it. despite my many years of trying to avoid it happening...im living and working in the big bad city (well, sorta...i technically live in nj.) im learning all new sorts of things like how to work a metrocard, that there is a starbucks on every corner, and that manhattan is basically a numbered grid. ive seen my first subway

Sometimes I think it's actually a Starbucks on every corner, and one (or two) somewhere in the middle of the block between.

Its quite complicated (i left after a week and got another job...long story) i like the apt. and our landlord and our housemates, but the traffic is absolute agony on a daily basis.
