milestones
Littleschempp's dad is 30 years old today!
We started our day with apple strudel, sticky pecan buns, and lattes. Followed by the opening of presents. Funny that it took me 28 years and 50 weeks to realize that birthdays are like Christmas for just one person. How fun! -
35 weeks
Today is the first day I have felt like maybe littleschempp wants out.
Yesterday, he seemed comfy and content. Today, he has been stretching and pushing against his prison, which isn't terribly comfortable for me as the warden...and the prison. -
Not to worry!
In my last post I mentioned my hip pain. I also mentioned swimming. I had not gone swimming since my hip pain had gotten so bad. Turns out, 45 minutes in a pool walking, kicking while floating on my back, and doing lunges provides AMAZING relief for the pain I have been feeling. It might be temporary, but I am hopeful. Who woulda thunk?
Ian told me last night that he is ready for littleschempp to be here already. I thought I would be the first to say that, or at least feel it.
Things have gotten hard for me mainly due to unbelievable hip pain. I have trouble sleeping at night and trouble walking, standing, sitting, and occasionally lying. Still, it is nice to know he is safe, and ( Read more... ) -
