The television was on the sports channel showing the live footage from Australia of the first major tournament of the year. Niou had brought some extra snacks from work (yay for employee discount). He'd even remembered to bring some extra soda instead of beer for his lightweight of a boyfriend.
He peeked out the door, wondering where the other two of their little group was. "You know, they'll either arrive together, which means they'll either late or early...and I'm going to bet on Seaweed Head's ability to distract people by being cute, so they'll be late." Niou was sure Renji would love that train of logic.
Niou would find himself to be wrong as he headed over to Yanagi's room on his own and knocking on the door. He had made a trip out to get some of the snacks that Kirihara liked, and some soda because a part of him was afraid to let the brat have any beer -- not after that last time, even if things ended well for him.
He waited for a while before he knocked again, louder this time.
"Y'know, we're not deaf." Niou rolled his eyes as he opened the door. "You made it, huh?" He said, grinning a little, taking the snacks from Yagyuu. "You know, I think we have enough drinks now." He said. "Did you forget your mass of Seaweed?"
"Just very slow at opening doors, as usual. Is Yanagi-kun in?" Yagyuu asked as he peered over Niou's shoulder. He didn't hear or see the other, maybe he was hiding in the room or maybe he was out. "And I don't think Akaya-kun should take beer so I brought some soft drinks just in case. He's probably late."
