Well, I recommend using lots of Smoke Screen. I mean, when Knuckles did it, I couldn't really see the battle, but he could! And he was totally awesome!

... Status effects. If you don't have anything that's super-effective, use whatever you have that'll raise or lower Attack or Defense or Speed or Accuracy-- stuff like that. It can make a huge difference if you're patient enough.
