Quick update

Gavin has, yet again, bilateral ear infections. He was given a strong antibiotic via shot this morning and cleared for surgery. He was out from 7:45am to 4pm today and saw three doctors (including registering at the hospital). Gavin cannot eat anything after midnight tonight which should be trying. Lori & I have to be at the hospital by 7am

People are almost always intubated for surgery. I would worry if he wasn't intubated. That sucks about the vomiting, surly they can give him something to help with naseua? Poor little guy. What a time to get an ear infection. Babies are resiliant and heal quickly, he'll be back up and moving around in no time. It just sucks for you guys, seems a big step backwards when you were finally able to relax a little on the parenting front.

At least you know if you have another baby it will be a breeze. That's the law of the universe, first baby hard, second baby easy, or vice-versa. That's why I'm not taking a chance on having another. Sioned's was so good, I'm scared of what I'd get next time.
