All Good Nights Must Come to An End...

...as I am sitting there admiring the smiles of my new husband and Mother-in-law (no more future in that sentence!  Eeeee!!), my brother comes rushing up out of nowhere and buries his head in my shoulder.  It took me a few seconds to realize he was crying as he held my hand tightly.  Between the sobs I asked him if he was okay and what had happened ( Read more... )

I had completely forgotten out SATC for the song! What an amazing day you had. I am thoroughly impressed you documented everything so touching, so complete for just getting back. I still have not even gotten on to the church with my recap. I feel privelaged to have followed your wedding and have had you to follow mine. I know I don't need to give you and Robert any more good wishes, because you are off to a lifetime of happiness all on your own!

And they lived happily ever after!

What a great recap E. Loved every moment of it and will probably reread it all again. It was a truly magical evening and you put it into such beautiful words.

Can't wait to hear about Tahiti ;-)

Yay!!!!!
I love your wedding story!
The same thing happened with us...we were a few of the last people to leave our wedding venue...it was kinda funny.
And I did the same thing..as soon as we got to our wedding night hotel I put my bouquet in water...
I am so happy for you Erin!
I am glad that Robert liked the pics:) As I knew he would:)

Lovely lovely lovely!

what a day, my dear!

And I don't think you were silly with the bouquet at all.... I ended up taking mine to our honeymoon suite as well.

It had a wild accidental ride in the garbage disposal (I placed it to avoid any wierd crushing and B mistook the disposal switch for a light switch) but it survived and even ended up coming to the brunch the following day!

Cheers to you and Robert!

Erin,
As I sat here in my own puddle .... I feel incredibly happy for you. Life may come with some special and unexpected challenges, but with the love and support shown by your family and friends (old and new) .... you are one lucky girl!
Thank you so much for sharing your special time with all of us.
