So, I've been dragging my heels on this for a while, but a combination of inspiration from APE and outrage at livejournal are motivating me to move Littlest Elle to a proper website/blog format. This way I can have more control over the site and the site should be more welcoming to non livejournal users ( Read more... )

Aw, you're a sweetheart :) It's actually going to be on mysky, with the aid of a wordpress module designed specifically for comics, and I will of course let you know ASAP.

...I can't get it to look very comicsy, but I'm not flailing too much. Part of why I stayed on LJ so long was that I liked the journally look of it all.

I don't know if I'll be moving Sae, though. LJ makes me angry, but that's such a commitment it makes my head spin.

Yeah, I'm pretty entrenched here too. Even when LJ makes me angry, there's still 7 years of history and a whole bunch of other people's journals to stick around for... makes it a lot harder to up and leave.

It is exactly what you're thinking of. Google makes me angrier but I'm too entrenched to back away from them. LJ, well, it's good motivation to go my own way with at least one of the journals...
