My brain makes me do stupid things

I knew I should not have splurged on a cafe drink and a scone tonight -- I should have just bought cheap dinner from the grocery store next door and been done with it. But there was a sign for scones in the window, and I discovered I desperately wanted one, with chai, and couldn't be dissuaded by any logic or lack of cash

Would you like fresh scones? Crumbly moist ones, not dry stale ones with wierd sugar glaze? Still warm ones with melty butter?

Forgive the ignorance, but I can't recall if I've ever had a true scone or not, so I don't see what the attraction is...?

I will bring scones to a sewing session -- then you will understand :) I didn't understand scones until well into grad school myself, so don't feel bad for not knowing.
