[And bother he will. On his way down the village path on his way to the store, Adell passes by Koakuma reading a book on a bench... not immediately noticing the bat wings on her head. But she looks like she's enjoying the weather and the read. He'll stop and turn to address her.]

What are you so wrapped up in reading, there?

[One of those wings gives an involuntary twitch when she looks up to respond.]

Oh? Um... I just grabbed the first thing I could find...it looks like some sort of instruction manual for something, I guess. [She must not have been sitting here very long, then; she's only gone through the first few pages.]

[Okay, now he's going to see that wing twitch. And his eyes end up widening a bit. ...Not in such a way that they're alien, but rather he knows exactly what they are and what they mean. And his face may have just paled a little bit. Hesitation picks up in his voice for a second.]
