Sam and Ruby had finally made it to Lilith's hiding place. Dean's text had brought Sam right to the hotel they were staying in, and from there tracking down the demon and her captive shouldn't be hard.

It still felt like they had little in the way of a plan, but he couldn't wait any longer. Not knowing that Lilith had Dean, was most likely torturing him from the hints she had dropped. All they had to do was to get the girl into a Devil's Trap, and then they'd go from there.

Somehow.

He turned to Ruby, at the entrance of the hotel, and took a deep breath.

"Ready?"

"Definitely," Ruby replied after doing another check for the supplies they'd need to even attempt to make this work. Their plan was less thorough than she would have liked, but they had to do what they could. Dean and Abi couldn't afford any more time.

She glanced back at Sam, wanting to ask him the same thing. She knew his powers hadn't worked on Lilith on his first try, and it wasn't as if they'd had time for him to practice them, but she wondered if he'd be willing to try them again. If it worked, it was the only sure way to get Lilith out of Abi and leave the girl unharmed.

But it hadn't. So she doubted he'd want to try it again, at least not right away.

They'd have to cross that bridge when they came to it.

She took a deep breath herself, nodding. "Let's go."
