I'm thinking about maiking a LJ community for my students and using it to post their assignments in it. It would be eaiser than creating an entire webcite and I'd keep up with it, but I am worried that it may backfire somehow like students will be able to find my LJ name or something. You could make a black board account. I'm not sure what is involved with that.

What is required first of all is for the school to be running a blackboard server.
