K, I didn't realize they sang it first. He did it in '68 and again in '69 at Woodstock. The Beatles wrote it in '67 though. I'd have to say that Joe Cocker's version was much better, however, especially considering that it was the title-music to "The Wonder Years," which was simply an amazing show that no one should have missed, even though it was a little bit before our time.
