ya know, we actually talked about that phenomenon in one of Dr. Peszka's class. It was something about how your memories are either stored in around the same area of the brain as the amygdala or limbic system (emotional regulation centers)or they go through those centers on the way to storage...SO music often gives you a lot of sentimental feelings even if you hate the music. I don't remember the specifics exactly but I remember thinking how neat it is. I, too, sometimes long for the songs that repeatedly played in Kroger and lord knows no one likes THAT music. I love you baby cakes. I always want to talk to you and then life gets in the way. We must make time soon. xoxo
