I remember how I always used to wonder if you were thinking the same things as I was...and then I learned that half the time we had like the same brain.

So, am I the only one going to bed at night thinking how AMAZING it is that it worked out for both of us...that we're really IN and fully surrounded by the most exciting academic experience? Like remember when we were pacing the field at toad suck park at night wondering what LSU would be like for you or if you should go to Oklahoma? We have both spent so much time wondering what this grad life would be like and wondering if we could do it...and we're both here now. This just makes me so happy, like everything was worth it. I really hope you feel the same way. I love you Becky and I miss you tons.

I'm going to LOVE it! Birds of prey crack me up. Maybe there's a wildlife rehabilitation unit near where you live? If so, I bet they'd be happy to have volunteers! Then we can swap stories....it would be so cool.
