Today was my first day on the job, so it was actually training.  I'm working as an after-hours receptionist/cashier for the small animal emergency clinic, so pretty much triage, paperwork, money, and other boring stuff.  However, I was told that I'll get to see lots of cool stuff, meet lots of the doctors and start networking, so that's pretty cool ( Read more... )

It's sad when you only get a mid-term and a final for a class....and you get the feeling you probably failed the final.  Yeah....that was histology.  What a bitch of a test.  It's extra sad because I went in there with an "A," which I was really hoping to keep.  We haven't found out our grades yet, but it can't be too good.....

Does school count as an addiction?  I think the longer I stay the more I feel the endorphins.  On a similar note, I've found that reflecting on good times with friends, family, classmates, former coworkers, etc. for a minute before I sit down to study is a really helpful study tool--it gets me so pumped up and ready to do some learnin ( Read more... )
