SO bored with my broken elbow (it's only been four days and I've got to be 5-6 weeks in a sling!)...there's only a few things you can do. One of them is sing! Hurrah! I still can't look at the camera when I sing (and I still feel nervous as hell when I post the video so friends can see) but I've got to try to build my confidence up somehow.

hey! Thanks for asking! :-) It's getting better....I'm allowed to start moving it a bit now so I'm definitely on the mend. Hope all's going well with you and you're finding lots of reasons to smile! :-) xx

Bb, I just had to listen to this and OMG it blew me away!!! Your voice is incredible! It sounds so professional! Very musical-theatre like. I'm not very good with musical terms, but the pitch is perfect, and one thing that just grabs my attention about people's singing voices, is when they add their own little 'twangs' in and make little things sound different, and you really do that here. Your voice had me floored...I really hope that you go somewhere with this!

And hopefully you'll do more :D

Thanks SO much for your lovely encouraging words! Its taken such a long time to build up the confidence to share my singing...comments like this really help to encourage me to continue. I always worry that my voice is dull so your 'twang' comment really made my heart smile! Thank you!!! (Sadly I've had to take down my videos on youtube for now....scary stalker activities mean I have to hideaway for a bit...but I might upgrade my LJ account if it means I can upload rather than embed videos.) Hopefully I'll put more vids up here soon. Thanks again bb! xxx
