Interesting~ These communication devices have some good properties, a nice start. Of course I've added a feature or two to mine: GPS, the capability to receive signals from broadcast satellitesamong other ones, and of course the capability to hook up with my own database to name a few, just small things really. I'd like to study them some more when ( Read more... )

You seem to have quite a grasp on technology.

It's fairly easy really, at least these devices. I'm sure with a little knowhow most could put in their own music players. No real show of my mind at all, sadly. The name's Washu, smartest mind you'll ever meet. And you are?

I rarely mess with mechanics, but I suppose with instructions, simple things can be easily managed.

It is a pleasure to meet you, Washu. I am Zexion.

It's nice to meet you as well, Zexion <3 Care to share what you do mess with, if not mechanics.

Just a few modifications? My, sounds like we've got someone here who knows quite a bit about what she's working with.

...but then again, I'm just repeating what has already been said, aren't I?

I'm the Doctor. Nice to meet you.

The Doctor? Very lofty title there. And where is The Doctor from?

Hmmm, you've done your homework awfully quickly. I have to admit, I'm impressed.

Yes, that's me. Nice to meet you too, Little Washu. Are those all the modifications you put in, or just all the ones you can talk about openly?

Excuse me, I couldn't help but be a bit curious--when you talk of these "new viruses," exactly what are you referring to, Ms. Washu?

Well, first there is the effect of the gas obviously. But I'm sure as none of us are native to Weisdia, some of us will have negative reactions to some of the natural bacteria of this world that our own body isn't adapt for. Much like some people build up better immunities to certain things over the years, in comparison someone newly introduced to the environment- or in this case the environment introduced to them - wouldn't be as well equipped to deal with it.

We all may be fine overall, but it's better to be safe the sorry.

Having not had the chance to analyze it--and my world may not have the technology to do a complete one, anyway--I was under the impression that the gas was a chemical weapon. You're saying it's biological?

Mmm, that's quite true. I'm embarrassed as a former scientist to admit that hadn't crossed my mind. Thank you for bringing that to my attention, Ms. Washu. I am Colonel Jade Curtiss, by the way. Malkuth Imperial Military, 3rd Division.
