YAY JENNI!!!! I'm so proud of you for exercising & helping your stress level (God knows you need it!)... and you sound so health-oriented!
Half-portions is a good way to go... I heard of a guy who lost an entire person that way (like srsly, 150, maybe 200 lbs)! If he wanted chocolate, he ate half of a Snickers bite size & threw the rest away.
I as well will support your ass off. (I'll support you, while you lose your ass!) ;-)
