But it's weird, I totally don't have the same attitude as you. I'm like, I chose to be here, so I'm going to take it all with small piles of salt, maybe even the whelks. Every time I see this 'welcome to China' attitude, I'm like, but but but! grarghle! I'm already in a more desirable situation than most Chinese people currently, and unless I can personally affect anything, I shouldn't gripe. If I griped too much, I would tell myself to bugger off home and stop being ungrateful.
