Thank you! I'm glad. That makes me want to write better posts, and it's annoying that I've no way of uploading any of my dodgy photos yet.

Have fun!

Er... you mean in the cosmic sense or literal meaning? I think I just meant a kebab made of halal meat, i.e. that's been prepared muslimically. The Chinese for kebab is cool - chuan 串. It actually looks like two blobs of meat on a stick. I dunno what a halal kebab is in the cosmic sense, probably nothing terrible, but anyway I'm eating less and less meat. Buddhist temples are feeding my habit!

成都的茶馆真好,n'est pas? If you ever get a chance to go back in the summertime, it's a totally different city. Outdoor beer gardens, kebab guys, and tea gardens abound. All of those bamboo chairs. What a city. Going to 九寨沟? You should.

I never made it to Jiuzhaigou. I just loved Chengdu though, never mind the season. I didn't want to leave, and it was the first time that happened to me in China! You are a fan of Dalian, aren't you? I may need you to tell me good things about Dalian in a few weeks when essay pressure is making things look bleak :)

If I didn't love Dalian I wouldn't have stayed there for 2.5 years. But I gotta admit, it's a bit of a bleak place in the winter. I can give you a few tips on some cool places to go around town, though. Some of my friends still live there, too.
