I'm amused by this! Just now I briefly considered setting up a Chinese blog, just for the sake of practising my written Chinese. I searched for "博客" with Google and looked at some options. Most of the blogging sites I opened were just crammed with anime ghasts, multicoloured animals, fairytale forest backgrounds and synthesized music (music!). I found one whose front page just about had more news than breasts (www.bokee.com) and looked at the registration page.
They say they need your real name, sex, birthday, work unit, telephone number, short biography and 'representative work' (what, like a mission statement?) Whatever, and then I read the terms and conditions under which you get to keep your account:

Now look, I'm benign and vacuous, but this list is just provoking. I wouldn't dream of attacking the Party, though I would wonder aloud why they're so intriguingly insecure. Harming racial unity? So you can't incite racial discrimination but you have to support this thing called "racial unity". (Actually 民族 is closer in meaning to Volk than to the English word "race".) Jolly good, well I'm going to stand on a small rock shouting "you are arguably all different, depending on your point of view!" until someone pipes up "I'm not." Perverse teachings! Feudal superstitions! Yum, oh yes. Sex! Sex? Have you been shopping lately? Your own front page is half breasts. Deviations from reality? Have fun reading kids' blogs muttering to yourselves, "hmm, now under the criteria of socialist realism, how dangerously does this celebrity-related teenage fantasy deviate from prescribed reality?"
Pretty goofy. Sings: ...Uns schützt die Mutter der Massen... Anyone able to tell me what 灌水性质的文章 would be?
Real life going well, presented another of those international students' events on Friday night - came home and, to my disbelief, Kyoko gave me a plate of rice and beef stew. Couldn't thank her enough in any language.
